people. The ceremony is very important. It provides formality to you and your guests, to pay respect to the promises you are making. As well as this, these time-honoured ceremonies help to guide our emotional experience through important milestone in our life.
Weddings are slightly different to other types of ceremonies in that they have serious legal implications. Only qualified and registered celebrants or priests can officiate wedding ceremonies, and certain elements of the ceremony are non-negotiable.

Vow Renewals

Marriage is an intimate union and equal partnership of two loving
people. A marriage vow renewal ceremony is a ceremony where a
married couple renews or reaffirms their original marriage vows as a
way to celebrate and display their commitment to one another.
There are no rules on when you should or shouldn’t have a vow
renewal. There could be any number of reasons as to why you want
to renew. It could be for a big wedding anniversary (20th or 25th), it
may be a way to reignite the newness and passion in your marriage.
Whatever the reason may be, renewing your vows can be a
beautiful experience and meaningful milestone in your marriage.
Please note, a vow renewal is not a wedding. You are not legally
getting married again, therefore there are no legalities for vow
renewals.

Naming Day

A baby naming ceremony is held to celebrate a new baby’s arrival
and naming. In some cases (not all) the naming ceremony is often
held at around the same time as the baby’s first birthday party. A
baby naming ceremony is not a legal ceremony and is not usually
religious.
Naming days are important. They bring together family and friends
to celebrate the arrival of your new family member, giving a sense
of family unity and acknowledgement, helping to develop a bond
towards the child and his or her family and friends. The recognition
of the role grandparents and godparents if any will play and
inclusion of the child’s siblings are a good idea, to formally introduce
the baby or child’s life.
It is performed by celebrants. It’s a ceremony of love and gratitude
for the new addition to your family and celebrates the miracle of life,
birth and love.
